About

We prepare the best for the worst.

Ensuring that emergency fresh whole blood is efficiently collected and transfused safely.

The Valkyrie Emergency Fresh Whole Blood Transfusion Training Program was initiated in 2017 at Camp Pendleton, California as a proof-of-concept to train conventional military forces in the use of emergency whole blood. Since then, we’ve trained thousands of corpsmen, medics, nurses, PA’s and physicians in the development and maintenance of unit-level emergency donor panels or “walking blood banks.”

We anticipate blood supply to be critically important in our Nation’s future military conflicts. To that end, our goal is to enable military units to self-supply blood through emergency donor panels by adequate training, rehearsal, and preparation.

The curriculum is freely available to anyone that would like to download the student material. For registered training programs and their instructors, we provide a multitude of resources to help safely develop your own training programs using this model. Please inquire if you’d like to know more.
